Studio Sluijzer

Studio Sluijzer is a multidisciplinary design studio from Amsterdam. Owner and designer Robin Sluijzer started as a furniture maker and started his own studio twenty years ago. The designs of Studio Sluijzer have a distinctive character that is tough, stylish and radiates calm and serenity. Robin uses contrast to find the right balance and works with natural materials. All designs are realized with an eye for detail and made in the most sustainable way. Robin’s love for materials, shapes and color is expressed in his design.

The studio portfolio is varied, ranging from residential projects to designs for hospitality, shops and office spaces. Robin and his team also design furniture and accessories, ranging from bamboo lighting collections, bamboo concrete to leather rugs.

Sustainable future.

During the Masters of LXRY fair in Amsterdam, Studio Sluijzer launched a major collaboration with EcoCabins. Within this collaboration, social housing, tiny houses and villas are developed based on sustainable timber construction with built-in sustainable energy supply.

Given this focus on sustainability, Studio Sluijzer is now joining the CooLoo Circular Canopy for a major project at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. By collaborating with CooLoo, you create exterior, interior and furniture designs in a circular way.

They are telling examples of Studio Sluijzer’s sustainable vision, which as part of the new housing movement wants to combine luxury and calm with sustainability and circularity.
