Van Damme • Vandeputte Architecten is led by fellow students Hannes Van Damme and Benoît Vandeputte (1989). After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at KU Leuven, Campus Sint-Lucas in Ghent, they gained experience at firms in Belgium and abroad.

In 2017, they founded the architecture studio that bears their names. Soon after, a multidisciplinary team of architects, interior architects, and designers gathered around them, working on projects ranging from furniture design and interior concepts to large-scale architectural commissions, always with a focus on a high-quality finish.

From the very beginning, a clear relationship between architecture and the interior experience has been the driving force behind the conception of their projects. Their work is centered on the search for aesthetic coherence, with functionality, comfort, and sustainability playing equally important roles. Each project starts from the context of the site and gradually evolves into a building where the user experience takes center stage.
