Custom interior fit-out with walk-in closet and TV unit

A black TV unit, open storage niches and a run of fitted cabinetry set the tone before the room even settles. The project is built around a custom interior fit-out, with each zone using the same clear language of flat fronts, dark accents and pared-back lines. In the living area, the TV wall sits under track lighting, while the surrounding joinery keeps cables, shelves and storage visually quiet. The result is not about filling space, but about shaping it with precise, built-in elements.

Built-in cabinets that turn corridors into storage

The hallway images show how built-in cabinets can do more than hide clutter. One cabinet door opens into a dark interior, while another wall reads as a continuous surface with white fronts and integrated niches. A small recess for shoes or daily items makes the passage feel considered without becoming busy. The same restraint appears in the stair zone, where the cabinetry runs beside wooden steps and keeps the route visually clean. This custom interior fit-out uses storage as part of the architecture of movement.

That approach is visible in the joinery itself: flush fronts, narrow joints and carefully placed openings. There is no decorative excess, only the rhythm of panels and voids. The custom cabinets sit close to the walls, which allows the corridor to work as a practical threshold rather than a leftover space. In a home with many transitions, that matters. The storage does not announce itself loudly; it simply absorbs coats, shoes and everyday objects behind calm, measured surfaces.

A custom walk-in closet with open shelving and hidden capacity

The bedroom images shift the focus to the custom walk-in closet. Open doors reveal a bright cabinet wall with shelving, hanging space and a few open compartments that break up the larger surface. The closet reads as a tailored piece of furniture rather than a separate room that was simply fitted out after the fact. Wood flooring continues underneath, which makes the storage feel grounded and connected to the room around it. The built-in cabinets here work with the available wall length instead of competing with it.

What stands out is the way the closet balances enclosed and open storage. Closed fronts keep the composition calm, while the open niches give the eye a place to rest and make the interior easier to use. The white finish also lightens the volume, especially beside the darker details seen elsewhere in the project. In a custom interior fit-out, that shift in tone is important: it keeps the walk-in closet practical, but it also keeps it from becoming visually heavy.

Black and white details in the living area

The living area carries the sharpest contrast in the project. A black TV unit anchors the wall, with matching modules extending across the room and under the track lighting above. The ceiling rail and spotlights draw a clear line through the space, and the dark furniture repeats that line at eye level. Behind it, the kitchen appears in partial view, adding white fronts and a darker backsplash to the palette. This is where the custom interior fit-out becomes most legible: one system of surfaces connecting living and cooking zones.

The TV wall avoids visual noise. There are no loose stands or freestanding cabinets interrupting the composition, only fitted volumes that sit flush to the wall. That makes the unit feel more architectural than decorative. The black finish also sharpens the reflection of light across the room, especially where the spots catch the edges of the cabinetry. A custom TV unit like this is not just a place for a screen; it becomes the backdrop for the whole seating area.

Track lighting above a custom TV unit

Track lighting is one of the clearest details in the photographs. It runs across the ceiling in a straight line and gives the black TV unit a second layer of emphasis. Instead of washing the room evenly, it picks out surfaces and creates a more graphic read of the space. That matters in a project built on flat fronts and dark panels, because the light keeps the joinery legible. The combination of a custom TV unit and rail lighting makes the wall feel deliberate without turning it theatrical.

A custom kitchen with an island and dark fronts

The kitchen continues the same disciplined palette, but with more surface variation. Dark fronts form the main body of the kitchen, while white sections and a wood finish soften the composition at the edges. A kitchen island sits at the center, used here as both work surface and visual divider. The island’s proportions keep the room open, while the darker rear wall makes the cooking zone read as one compact block. This custom kitchen does not rely on ornament; its effect comes from the way the surfaces line up.

A closer look shows how the materials are kept restrained. The front lines are straight, the edges crisp, and the backsplash dark enough to recede behind the working area. A metal tap detail appears in the imagery as a practical point of focus, set against the smooth counter surface. The kitchen island also brings another layer of use into the room, suggesting a place to work, serve or pause without changing the overall clarity of the layout. Here, the custom interior fit-out links storage and cooking in a single composition.

Because the kitchen sits within the same visual system as the living area, it never feels detached from the rest of the home. The black-and-white contrast recurs, but it is handled differently here: less like a statement and more like a tool for organising the room. The custom kitchen, island and surrounding cabinetry keep the eye moving along horizontal lines, which gives the space a measured, settled presence. It is a strong example of how bespoke joinery can carry a whole ground floor without calling attention to itself.

A bathroom with glass and timber in balance

The bathroom brings in a different material mix. A walk-in glass shower stands beside large tiled surfaces, while a wooden vanity cabinet softens the harder edges of the room. The glass panel keeps the shower area open to view, and the metal framing gives it a crisp outline. Against that, the vanity reads as warmer and more tactile, especially beneath the light stone-coloured basin. This custom bathroom vanity is not oversized; it is proportioned to sit neatly within the room and leave the shower zone clearly defined.

The shower itself is straightforward and readable. There is no visual interruption, only the transparent screen, tiled walls and the simple movement of the floor plane. That directness suits the project as a whole. Across the interior, from the hallway to the bedroom and kitchen, the same approach returns: fitted elements, clear edges and a limited set of materials used with discipline. The bathroom keeps that line going, closing the project with a space that depends on precise joinery rather than decoration.

Seen together, the rooms form a consistent custom interior fit-out built from cabinetry, storage walls, a black TV unit, a walk-in closet, a kitchen island and a walk-in glass shower. Each part is distinct, yet the project keeps returning to the same measured language of fit, line and contrast. The home serves as context, but the joinery is what defines the experience inside it. That is where the work holds together: in the cabinets, the concealed storage, the kitchen fronts and the furniture made to sit exactly where it belongs.
