Custom interior joinery with stone-look finishes and glass

Stone-look surfaces run through the rooms, but the joinery does the real work here. The kitchen island sits in front of a wide window, with a pale mineral tone across the front and worktop. Nearby, built-in niches cut into the wall and cabinets sit flush with the surrounding planes, so storage reads as part of the room rather than an added layer. It is a restrained modern interior fit-out, built around custom interior joinery that keeps the lines clear.

Kitchen island set against light and glass

The custom kitchen island is the first piece that draws the eye. Its stone-look finish gives the block a solid, single form, while the hanging pendant above it marks the centre of the room. Behind it, the glazing brings in a broad wash of daylight and keeps the kitchen open to the rest of the house. The worktop and front surfaces share the same quiet tone, so the island reads as one continuous volume instead of a stack of separate parts.

That same clarity continues in the surrounding fit-out. Dark accents outline the opening to the next space, and the ceiling spots keep the focus low on the island and floor. Nothing competes for attention. The result is a kitchen where the joinery sets the rhythm: a strong middle piece, clean edges, and a simple route out toward the adjacent rooms. It is the kind of layout that gives custom interior joinery a clear purpose rather than a decorative one.

Built-in niches and cabinets that sit back in the wall

Across the living areas, built-in niches and bespoke cabinets are handled as architecture rather than furniture. Recessed shelves break up long wall planes, and the white surfaces around them make the openings read clearly. In one room, a low round pouf sits in front of a niche wall, which keeps the composition relaxed without introducing visual noise. The storage does not project far into the room; it stays shallow, exact and aligned with the surrounding walls.

Several views show how the built-in niches work with the larger circulation of the house. Openings are framed in black metal, while adjacent walls remain light and plain. That contrast lets the joinery stand out without becoming heavy. The same approach appears in the glazing and in the dark-framed doors, where the lines are crisp and direct. This is where custom interior joinery shows its value: the room keeps its open surface, but the storage is still there when needed.

Glass partition wall with a dark frame

The glass partition wall introduces a sharper note. Thin metal members divide the panes, and the dark frame gives the partition a graphic outline. Instead of blocking the view, it filters it. You can see through to the next zone, including cabinetry and bathroom elements, so the glass becomes a working boundary rather than a full stop. It suits the rest of the modern interior fit-out, where transitions are visible and materials stay legible.

Black framed doors repeat that darker line in other parts of the interior. They sit against pale walls and stone-look floors, which makes the openings read with more precision. In the entrance, the contrast is especially clear: the floor runs on in large slabs, while the doors and frames pull the eye to the verticals. These details matter because they keep the joinery consistent from one room to the next, even when the functions change.

Bathroom vanity with a monolithic stone-look face

The bathroom vanity follows the same logic as the kitchen island. It presents as a single block, with a stone-look face and top that give it a monolithic presence. The basin is built in, and the tap sits close to the wall, leaving the surface calm and uncluttered. A window with a white blind softens the light, while the surrounding finishes keep the space pale and spare. The vanity is not treated as a separate object; it belongs to the room as a fixed element.

Another bathroom view shows black metal framing around glass, with the vanity set deeper in a niche. Large floor tiles extend the stone-look theme across the room, and the proportions stay tight and measured. That combination of glass, dark metal and mineral surfaces makes the bathroom read as part of the same interior language as the kitchen and living spaces. For a page focused on custom interior joinery, this continuity is important: it shows that the bespoke work was developed as a family of elements, not as isolated pieces.

Stone-look floors, framed openings and ceiling spots

Stone-look flooring carries the project from the entrance to the more private rooms. The large-format slabs keep joints to a minimum, which lets the joinery and openings take the lead. In the hall, dark doors stand against the pale walls and the floor continues without interruption. Ceiling spots are used sparingly, but they sharpen the geometry of the rooms by picking out edges, recesses and transitions. The light is functional, yet it also makes the fitted elements easier to read.

The bedroom carries this same restraint into a softer setting. A low bed with a broad base sits below a hanging light feature, while the wall finish stays light and plain. In the living and dining area, a long table sits near the windows and a black fireplace plane cuts into the wall. The surrounding curtains and fixed openings keep the room composed, but it is still the joinery that links the spaces. Built-in cabinets, black framed doors and recessed details create a consistent route through the interior.

Seen together, the project is less about individual statement pieces than about how each one holds its place. The custom kitchen island anchors the main room. Built-in niches and bespoke cabinets keep storage flush with the wall. The bathroom vanity repeats the solid, stone-look language in a more compact form. Glass partitions and dark-framed openings break the plan into zones without closing it off. That is the strength of this custom interior joinery: it gives the house structure through fixed elements that remain calm, precise and visible.
