The wishes of the client were immediately clear. This new construction project was to be their calling card. The starting points were functionality in the work environment and a homely atmosphere for visitors.

The floor plan is divided by the entrance zone. On one side there is the open office, on the other side there is a separate meeting room, a kitchen and an archive. The biggest challenge was a well-considered design for the workplaces. It is important that every desk has its own workplace, yet interaction between the different workplaces was of great importance. That is why we have opted for one large piece of furniture where d.m.v. different intermediate blocks every workplace is perfectly aligned, yet the furniture forms a whole and there can be sufficient interaction between the different employees.

In terms of material, a base of white was chosen. The floor runs everywhere in a natural oak parquet which ensures unity in the design. A dark tinted oak wood was chosen as the accent color. The entire cupboard wall as well as some furniture have been implemented. In this way a homogeneous whole is created with contrasts of light and dark, whereby the natural materials provide the warm, homely atmosphere that the client envisaged.
