The indoor pool with spa sits in a garden building and opens toward the outside through wide glazed sections, so daylight reaches the water and the room never feels sealed off from the garden. Glass openings that keep the garden in sight

The broad glass opening is one of the clearest gestures in the space. It frames the terrace and the greenery beyond, with dark window frames set against the pale interior. From the pool edge, the view runs straight out through the glazing, and the room reads as a place where swimming and garden use sit close together. The opening also lets the turquoise reflections spread across the water and onto the white PPC pool shell.

Seen from inside, the room stays direct and uncluttered. The glass, the tile floor and the waterline share the same quiet geometry, and there is no need for decorative interruption. The result is a pool room that is defined by surfaces and openings rather than by ornament. Even the lighting stays practical: small ceiling spots punctuate the ceiling without drawing attention away from the basin.

The pool itself is built in PPC, with a white finish that makes the water read as a strong turquoise blue. That contrast is the first thing the eye catches in the basin. Around it, antracite ceramic tiles run across the floor and over the overflow edges, giving the room a firm border. The dark tiled pool interior is visible in the floor plane and along the pool perimeter, where the clean joints sharpen the outline of the water.

PPC is described here as frost-resistant, impact-resistant, insensitive to osmosis and low-maintenance. Those are practical qualities, but what matters visually is the calm surface they allow. The white shell holds the color of the water, while the dark tiles keep the perimeter visually grounded. Together they create a pool room where the material shift is easy to read: light basin, dark floor, clear waterline.

A corner step and a hidden cover

The corner step is tucked into one end of the pool, leaving most of the basin open for swimming. It is a small intervention, but it changes how the pool is used: entry is easy, and the long body of water remains unobstructed. The automatic pool cover is stored out of sight in a niche, so the surface stays visually clean when the cover is not in use. In close-up images, the cover slats appear only as a technical detail, not as a dominant element.

That hidden storage matters in a room where every edge is visible. The antracite tile border stays uninterrupted, and the pool retains its rectangular reading. The cover can disappear into the architecture of the room rather than sit on top of it. This is one of the reasons the indoor pool feels composed when seen from the glass side, from the corner, or from the waterline.

The countercurrent system keeps the basin active

At one end of the project, a countercurrent system allows for continuous swimming in place. It is a functional addition, but it also changes the visual rhythm of the water. Small ripples and movement on the surface give the basin a sense of activity, especially in detail shots where the water catches light against the darker pool edge. For a room that is otherwise spare in its detailing, that movement becomes part of the atmosphere.

The indoor pool with spa is therefore not just a room for resting beside the water. The swimming lane remains useful, open and visually clear. The rectangular basin, the corner access and the current system all support that reading. Nothing in the plan interrupts the length of the pool, and the glazed opening keeps the eye moving outward instead of closing the room off.

Next to the pool sits a generous spa pool with multiple bubble and massage zones. It is positioned close enough that the two parts read as one wellness setting, but each retains its own use. The spa adds a different surface behavior: softer water movement, more contained seating and a separate edge line. Light and aroma therapy are part of the spa’s specification, though the room remains visually restrained and focused on the material contrast between water, tile and glass.

The spa’s rounded use contrasts with the straight basin next to it. That difference is visible even without elaborate decoration. One side is set up for swimming; the other is arranged for pause and circulation. The pairing gives the spa pool a clear role in the room, and the architecture does not force the two functions together. They simply share the same interior and the same view toward the garden.

Air treatment, water control and remote monitoring

Behind the visible room, a technical space houses an air treatment installation that conditions the air and helps keep the environment warm and healthy. The text also notes two fully automatic Da-gen Daisy+ systems for maintaining water quality in both the pool and the spa. With Pool-Service monitoring the installation remotely, the project is set up so small alerts can be handled before they become visible issues for the owner. The technical side stays offstage, but it supports the ready-to-use character of the room.

That separation between visible interior and hidden control is consistent throughout the project. The pool room shows only the finished surfaces: the white PPC pool shell, the antracite tiles, the glass opening and the tucked-away cover. The systems that keep the water and air in order are placed where they should be, out of the main sightline. What remains in view is a clear indoor pool with spa, shaped by light, water and a few exact material choices.
