Luxury kitchen with island and copper details

The central island catches the eye first: a broad marble surface set against dark timber and metal, raised slightly from the surrounding living spaces so the kitchen sits in its own zone without closing off the room. In this luxury kitchen with island, the island reads as the working heart of the plan, while the nearby seating areas remain visually connected through the open sightlines.

A kitchen placed at the centre of the home

The layout gives the kitchen a clear position in the middle of the house. A small level change marks the transition from the adjacent sitting areas, turning the move into the room into a gentle shift rather than a hard boundary. That subtle step also makes the island feel anchored. It separates the cooking area from the rest of the interior while keeping the volume open and easy to read from different angles.

Seen from the living space, the kitchen offers long views across dark veneer kitchen fronts, the island top and the tall storage wall. The composition is restrained, but it is not flat. Copper catches the light at several points, so the eye moves from the work surface to the tap and on to the side panels. This is an open-plan kitchen that uses material contrast rather than partitions to define its place in the house.

Dark veneer fronts and copper accents

The dark veneer kitchen fronts were selected specifically with the supplier, and their texture changes the pace of the room. Against the darker metal elements, the grain in the veneer remains visible and gives the cabinetry depth. Copper accents kitchen details appear along the side walls, in the tap and in the sink finish, where the warmer metal lifts the darker surfaces without breaking the overall calm of the composition.

Those copper surfaces do more than decorate. They mark the working points of the kitchen and help define where preparation and washing take place. The 3-in-1 tap sits prominently at the sink zone, while the copper-clad side walls wrap the cabinetry and make the island feel more substantial. It is a deliberate material move, but it stays grounded in daily use.

Surfaces that keep the room grounded

Two different worktops shape the rhythm of the kitchen. The marble island countertop in Bronze F brings a natural pattern to the centre of the room, with veining that stands out against the dark cabinetry. Around the other work areas, a composite surface in a concrete-look finish keeps the tone quieter. The contrast between stone and composite gives each zone its own task without making the room feel fragmented.

The island top does most of the visual work. It stretches wide enough to function as a preparation surface and a gathering point, and its pale stone surface reflects the light coming in from the windows. The surrounding composite tops are less expressive, which lets the marble remain the focal point. Together they keep the kitchen grounded, practical and readable from both sides of the room.

Built-in wall ovens and a clear cooking line

A tall unit houses the built-in wall ovens, lifting the appliances off the floor and keeping the working line tidy. Two ovens are integrated into this vertical section, one with a microwave function, and warming drawers sit below both. That stack of equipment creates a clear cooking route between storage, heating and plating. In the same visual field, the induction hob with integrated extraction keeps the island free from a separate hood.

Because the extraction is built into the hob, the ceiling line stays open above the island. The result is a cleaner view across the room, especially when looking from the adjacent seating area. The appliances are present, but they do not dominate. They sit within the cabinetry and leave the dark fronts and marble surfaces to carry the composition.

A luxury kitchen with island that still feels connected

The kitchen does not stand apart from the rest of the interior as a closed-off room. It remains part of a larger living arrangement, with clear sightlines to the seating area and a visible transition toward the lounge. A TV wall cabinet appears in the background of the interior views, reinforcing the idea that this is one shared space with several uses. The kitchen takes the lead, but the adjoining room is never lost.

Small architectural cues strengthen that relationship. The step up to the kitchen signals arrival, while the open edges let daylight and movement pass through. From one view, shutters filter the light near the window; from another, curtains and soft furnishings appear in the living area beyond. These details do not compete with the kitchen. They frame it and show how the exclusive kitchen sits within the wider plan.

The completed room combines a central island, tall storage, copper finishes and two contrasting worktop materials into a composed interior. Every visible element has a role: the marble draws the eye, the dark veneer holds the line of the cabinetry, and the copper marks out the working zones. It is a luxury kitchen with island shaped for daily use, but equally strong when seen as a whole from the living spaces nearby.
