What keeps those spaces from feeling vast is the material discipline. The warm wood tones interior softens the harder edges of the structure, while the darker surfaces anchor the rooms visually. Light lands on the cabinetry, picks out the texture in the finishes, and reflects in the glass, so the house keeps shifting as you pass through it.
