It is a practical solution, but it is also what gives the space its strongest line.

Two more columns beside the television continue that language. They repeat the vertical rhythm without making the room feel heavy, and they help frame the TV wall built-ins in oak. Because the columns are carried through the living area, the interior reads as one sequence rather than separate corners. The eye moves from the table to the wall and back again, always meeting the same plaster finish and the same calm geometry.

Oak details against a dark wood kitchen

The kitchen shifts the mood with darker wood. Against the pale plaster, the darker fronts sharpen the contrast and pull the eye toward the working zone. The change in tone is clear but not abrupt.
