This stairwell is separated from the living room with steel doors and a fixed panel. The goal? Banning sound to the kids’ bedrooms. Heating costs also secretly played a role in this steel wall, but more importantly it had to add something to the already modern interior of this living room. The tall steel handle stands out, but is also very handy when walking down from higher steps.

The residents hesitated for a long time whether to also remove the wall where the fixed steel panel with glass now sits. It turned out to be a good choice!
