Villa garden Hendrik Ido Craft
Here is the grandiose living in a green environment with a historic character. We designed a suitable garden for a detached villa that combines modern and rural elements. Comfort and privacy go hand in hand with aesthetics and pragmatism. Ample attention has been paid to the functional wishes of the residents – a couple with children – without prejudice to the architectural picture.
Link between inside and outside The corten steel on the windows of the house is repeated as material in the garden. On the one hand in the upright plates that provide shelter and privacy. And on the other hand on the side of the house, in the “extension” of the windows to the boundary. The characteristic rust color with its warm and unpolished appearance contrasts nicely with the slate-shaped, evergreen trees. They visually break the long line and, viewed from the inside, provide a generous green touch.
Relaxing in luxury At the back right is the lounge area: a wooden deck for relaxing, a jacuzzi for endless bathing fun, a pergola to catch the last rays of the sun, and a sauna to sweat away the daily stress. Here too, smart interventions provide that little bit more: inconspicuous outdoor boxes for a strikingly beautiful sound, an elongated window in the sauna to overlook the garden, LED lighting that rivals the warmest evening glow in terms of atmosphere, …
