In-ground pool with enclosure

The dark frame of the enclosure sets the pace before the water does. Behind the transparent panels, the rectangular in-ground swimming pool sits in a crisp garden layout, with blue water, straight edges and a terrace that runs tightly along the basin. The project reads as a covered in-ground pool from the first glance, but the details do most of the work: the reflective surface, the dark border at the waterline and the way the enclosure sits over the pool in both closed and open positions.

Rectangular water, measured to fit the garden

The pool was built to a size of 900 x 400 x 145 cm, which gives it a long, even shape and a clear presence in the outdoor space. Its in-ground position keeps the line of the terrace uninterrupted, while the blue water brings a strong contrast to the dark paving around it. From the wider views, the pool enclosure frames that rectangle like a second shell. It is not hidden away; it becomes part of the garden composition and marks the pool as the main element in the modern garden pool setting.

The pool liner is finished in Touch Elegance 3D, and that layered surface is visible in the way the light shifts across the water and along the inner edge. The liner gives the basin a controlled, clean profile, especially in the detail shots where the dark rim and lighter inner line can be read clearly. Rather than breaking up the shape, the finish keeps the pool visually calm. It lets the water color stand out while the edges remain precise, even in close-up views.

A pool enclosure that changes the view

The pool enclosure is the strongest architectural gesture in the project. Its dark structure and transparent panels create a clear line over the water, and the photographs show it both closed and folded open. In the closed position, the panels sit as a low roof over the basin, giving the pool a sheltered profile. When opened, the panels shift to the side and rise above the line of the pool, exposing the water and turning the enclosure into an active part of the composition rather than a fixed cover.

Glass panels, dark frames and a clear horizon

Seen from the side, the glass pool enclosure creates a long horizontal band above the terrace. The dark frames outline each panel and keep the structure legible against the green lawn and black fence in the background. That contrast matters. It separates the enclosure from the garden without making it heavy. The transparency also allows the water to remain visible through the panels, so the pool keeps its presence even when covered.

Several images focus on the enclosure in motion, and those views show how the system works with the pool rather than against it. In one frame the panels are stacked open; in another they form a closed roof. Both states keep the proportions of the basin readable. The result is a covered in-ground pool that can be viewed as both a sheltered swimming space and a crisp piece of garden architecture.

Terrace lines that hold the composition together

The terrace around the pool is finished in dark grey boards or tile-like planks laid in straight lines. That surface pulls the eye along the long sides of the basin and gives the pool a defined base. Because the paving meets the edge so closely, there is no visual clutter between water and terrace. The geometry stays sharp. Even in the wider garden shots, the terrace reads as a clean platform set into the lawn rather than a separate zone added afterwards.

Green grass surrounds the hard surfaces and softens the overall scene without distracting from it. A black fence appears behind and beside the pool, drawing a dark line through the background and reinforcing the rectangular order of the setting. In the broader views, this combination of lawn, fence and terrace keeps the pool visually anchored. It makes the enclosure and the basin feel deliberate, with each boundary clearly drawn.

Close-ups that reveal the finish

The detail images are useful because they show the pool from a lower, more tactile angle. Water reflections sit against the dark metal of the enclosure, and the inner edge of the basin becomes more apparent. In these views, the liner, the profile of the pool and the reflective glass all meet in a tight frame. It is here that the project’s material contrast is easiest to read: blue water, dark borders, transparent panels and the lighter line of the pool finish.

One close-up captures the water beneath the enclosure with a strong blue tone and clear reflections. Another reveals the open frame of the cover from inside the garden, showing how the moving panels define the view without blocking it. These images do not describe the pool in abstract terms. They show how the enclosure, liner and terrace edges work together in real use, with the pool maintaining its shape in every position of the cover.

Technical elements kept visually quiet

Alongside the visible structure, the pool includes LED lighting, a pool management system, a pool filtration system with AFM and ACO, and an All Seasons Full Inverter heat pump. Those elements sit behind the surface of the project, but they are part of what makes the covered in-ground pool function as a complete installation. The lighting adds another layer to the water at night, while the filtration and heating equipment support the pool without changing its clean visual line.

The visual language of the project stays consistent: straight edges, dark framing, transparent enclosure panels and a pool liner that holds the water in a defined rectangle. Nothing interrupts the reading of the basin. Even the technical additions are presented as parts of the same built composition, not as separate objects. That is what gives the pool its clear identity in the garden. It remains open to the landscape, but the enclosure and the supporting systems keep its outline precise.

From the terrace, the pool holds a steady presence: water, frame, cover and lawn arranged in a sequence of clear bands. The covered in-ground pool is not only a basin with a lid; it is a measured outdoor space where the enclosure, the pool liner and the surrounding paving all stay visible. The project works because every part has a visible role, from the transparent panels to the dark edge at the waterline.
