Complete interior design plan for a home with character

A dark kitchen wall sets the tone straight away, with long vertical lines, a stone-look worktop and a wood detail that breaks the heavier surfaces. The island sits in the middle of the room as a second working plane, not an afterthought, and the track lighting above it keeps the whole arrangement sharply legible. It is a clear interior design project in which the kitchen, storage and bathroom elements are treated as one continuous plan.

Kitchen surfaces that carry the room

The kitchen pairs matte dark fronts with a ceramic worktop that appears to hover at the edge of the island. That effect comes from the wooden detail beneath the top, a small move that changes the reading of the whole volume. Seen from the side, the island gives the room weight without making it feel dense. The black tap, the clean junctions and the restrained front lines keep the focus on material and proportion rather than decoration.

A second row of tall cabinetry runs along the wall and turns storage into part of the composition. Open niches interrupt the closed fronts and give the eye a place to pause. Under the rail spotlights, the dark kitchen with wood accents reads as a carefully edited sequence of planes, recesses and joints. The cooking and washing zones sit within this structure, so the room stays orderly even when appliances and work surfaces are in use.

Custom cabinetry beyond the kitchen

The interior design project extends well past the cooking area. Near the entrance, a wardrobe wall provides storage and a clear point of arrival, with dark cabinet fronts set behind a glass partition framed in black metal. The transparency softens the bulk of the storage and lets the cabinet line appear more architectural. Instead of a separate furniture piece, the wardrobe storage becomes part of the route into the house, marking the transition from entrance to living spaces.

In the sitting area, a TV unit introduces a more personal note without breaking the overall discipline of the plan. It is handled as custom cabinetry rather than a loose object, so the wall remains calm and measured. The same approach appears in the utility room, where practical storage is built in with enough room for daily use. Across these areas, the project relies on custom cabinets to keep surfaces clear and the rooms visually connected.

Storage walls with a defined rhythm

The tall cabinets and fitted units are not simply background pieces. Their height, handles and recesses shape the room edges and direct how each zone is read. In the kitchen, the cabinetry frames the work area. At the entrance, the wardrobe storage gathers coats and clothing behind solid fronts and glass. Even the TV unit follows the same measured language, which is why the interior feels consistent without becoming repetitive.

Bathroom furniture with a lighter touch

The bathroom shifts the material palette but keeps the same restraint. Stone-look wall tiles set up a pale field behind the vanity, while the wood bathroom vanity introduces a warmer line at basin height. The basin sits cleanly on top, and the fittings remain visually light against the tiled background. This part of the interior design project is smaller in scale, yet it carries the same attention to edges, transitions and material contrast seen in the kitchen.

Wood also returns in the toilet furniture, which links the rooms without copying them. The stone-look bathroom surfaces and the darker metal details around the tap echo the kitchen’s palette in a quieter register. Rather than using a separate language for each space, the plan repeats the same materials in adjusted proportions. That is what makes the bathroom vanities and the toilet unit feel related to the rest of the home.

Light, reflections and the route through the house

Track lighting above the kitchen cabinet wall does more than illuminate the worktop. It draws a line across the ceiling and keeps the long wall readable at night, especially where the dark fronts and open niches meet. In the entrance, the glass partition catches reflections and gives depth to the wardrobe storage. The result is not dramatic lighting for its own sake, but a clear reading of surfaces, edges and movement through the house.

The project also uses contrast in a practical way. Dark cabinetry absorbs the room volume, while the ceramic worktop, pale bathroom tiles and glass panels open it up. Seen together, those elements make the interior design project feel composed around use: cooking at the island, arriving at the entry, sitting by the TV unit, storing clothing, washing up in the bathroom. Each space has its own role, but the detailing keeps them visually connected.

A complete plan in one material language

What holds the house together is not a single statement piece but the repetition of a few clear choices: dark fronts, wood accents, stone-look surfaces and precise lighting. The kitchen island, wardrobe storage, bathroom vanity and fitted cabinets each carry that language into another room. Because the same materials return in different forms, the house reads as a complete interior plan rather than a sequence of unrelated fittings. The outcome is measured, practical and visually direct.

Across the kitchen, entrance, living area and bathroom, the details stay close to the architecture of the rooms. Handles are kept linear, storage is built in, and the surfaces are allowed to do the talking. That gives the project its calm finish without overselling any single part of it. It is a home where the interior design project is defined by the way cabinet lines, worktops, lighting and tiled walls meet.
