Behind the island, vertical cabinet lines and a recessed side zone keep the kitchen visually controlled. The opening in the wall is small but important: it breaks the run of cabinetry and creates a place for tools, boards, and everyday objects. The corner sofa sits low against it, with cushions in muted tones that stay close to the palette rather than breaking it open.

Across the seating area, a round table sits lightly on the floor, its shape echoing the softer edges elsewhere in the apartment. The transition from floor to wall is calm, but not bland; the materials do the work. The room reads as one of the quieter zones in the apartment, yet the texture keeps it from disappearing into the background.

Rings, circles, and soft edges in the dining zone

The dining area picks up the same language through circular forms. A round table sits beneath a hanging light with glass elements, and the curve of the tabletop eases the shift toward the window wall.
