Francisca Hautekeete Architectuur

Francisca Hautekeete, architect in Ghent, graduated in 1998 from the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent and started her own office in Deinze. From the start, the emphasis was on the creation of a sleek, minimalist architecture with a focus on liveability and living experience.

In 2015, the architectural firm moved from the office building it designed by Tallieu & Tallieu in Deinze to an Art Nouveau building in the Fortlaan in Ghent. The historic building on the Citadel Park was formerly the childhood home of Jan Hoet Sr. and later an art gallery. This move allows Francisca Hautekeete to combine living and working.

Today Francisca, together with 3 co-architects, designs and builds about 10 projects every year, where mostly both exterior and interior are completely made by her.
