Victoria-Maria is a German interior architect and designer based in Brussels. Passionate about Art History and with a solid network of suppliers throughout the world, she caters to cosmopolite, international clients.

Victoria-Maria est une architecte d’intérieur et designer allemande, basée à Bruxelles. Passionée d’art et d’histoire, entourée d’un solid réseau de fournisseurs internationaux, elle travaille pour des clients tant en Belgique qu’à l’étranger.

BACKGROUND / PARCOURS:

Self-taught, Victoria-Maria started her business in 2008. “I’ve always loved moving furniture around and adding personality to a space,” she says.

Victoria-Maria has been called an iconoclast, as she is known for creatively mixing up antique and contemporary pieces in her designs, managing to keep up with current trends all while retaining uniqueness.

SHE LOVES / COUP DE COEUR:

The «NIGHT» & «DAY» rugs she designed, inspired by Puccini’s «Turandot».

“NIGHT” is dark and dramatic. It makes us think of when the heartbroken Prince sings “Nessun Dorma”

DAY, light and cheerful, embodies new beginnings and bright prospects. The Prince sings “Vincerò!”

La collection de tapis “NIGHT” & “DAY”. Inspiré de l’opéra “Turandot“ de Puccini.

“NIGHT” is sombre et dramatique, comme l’angoisse du prince dans la chanson “Nessun Dorma”.

“DAY” est léger et joyeux, comme la délivrance ressentie par le Prince à l’aube lorsqu’il trouve la solution.

WHAT’S UP:

A collection of customizable rugs, named DAY and NIGHT with The Invisible Collection and a line of inspiring door knobs for the famous Belgian hardware house Maison Vervloet. In 2018 she designed a capsule collection of fabrics and wallpapers for La Maison Pierre Frey.
