The VOLA faucets, showers and accessories were designed in 1968 by the famous Danish architect and industrial designer Arne Jacobsen in close collaboration with Verner Overgaard, founder of VOLA. VOLA stands for Verner Overgaard Lund Armaturen.
VOLA is characterized by a minimalist timeless design and almost unlimited application possibilities. As one of the leading faucet manufacturers, the principles of VOLA are rooted in corporate culture. Every little detail is carefully examined during the process from design to delivery to the customer. In this way, every product is guaranteed in the state that VOLA has valued for decades. VOLA does not only want to sell a product, but also to offer the customer a complete service during installation and use. The entire production of VOLA cranes and accessories takes place in our own factory in Denmark, which guarantees the high quality.
When technical innovations are implemented and the range is expanded, VOLA always does this under the motto of ‘celebrating continuity, celebrating change’. The core values of the past, such as modularity and timelessness, are combined with the contemporary desire for more sustainability and efficiency. The demand for special surfaces has also been met; In addition to the standard colors such as chrome, matte black and brushed stainless steel, the entire collection is supplied in beautiful metal colors such as gunmetal, copper and brushed gold. The design language of the various luminaires always remains the same: pure shapes and geometry through circles, cylinders and lines that are perfectly in balance with each other.
Partly for this reason, the reputation of VOLA is a household name and the faucets, showers and accessories are frequently used in both private projects and at leading locations such as the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Conscious Hotel Westerpark and the WTC Rotterdam to name just a few.
