This penthouse is finished with materials that are truly in a class of their own. The clients desired the best of the best applied in a very personal way. This created a very luxurious penthouse of which the stairwell is perhaps the biggest eye-catcher.

Shiny gold

The ultimate eye catcher of this beautiful staircase is a custom designed steel stair railing. This is a one off from ZOEN by ENZO. This banister DROOM consists of a long procession of numerous male figures, connecting the three floors. These male figures are derived from the celestial representations in the elevator shaft, which also has a high glamour content. The stair treads also have a luxurious finish that consists of veined Carrera marble cut in mitre. To add extra class and body to the stair treads, the first three steps of each floor are covered in black marble. The third and extremely baroque detail is the back wall of the landings. Here real gold shines, well protected by a thin glass plate.

Marble, brass and copper

The precious materials from the stairwell reappear in the other spaces. Indeed, the masculine figure is reflected in the tall pivot doors DROOM by ZOEN by ENZO. Also, the floors of the hall and living room are done in white veined marble. We see the dark marble on the wall behind the sinks, which is lined with two giant slabs. The kitchen island is also finished with this dark marble, which is mitered here. The tall cabinetry has doors made of wood that has been worked in a very special way to give it the appearance of copper. Also worth mentioning are the walls of the entrance, which feature burnt oak with brass grooves.

Glamour, baroque, ultimate luxury and very personal: this penthouse is our clients’ dream that we designed for them with our eye for atmosphere, materials, layout and routing. They completed their dream with furniture of their own choosing and luxurious fabrics that highlight the uniqueness of this dream home.
