Arched window with movable slats that leave the panorama intact

A villa in Badhoevedorp (NL) has a beautiful arched window on the second floor. This large arched window offers great panoramas. On sunny days, however, residents suffered from too much sunlight.

To solve this, Sunshield created a tilting slat system in two parts for the large glass area. Each section has an area of over 10m2. The left and right parts of this movable blind can be operated independently.

The 96-E slat was chosen for this arched awning. The aluminum parts are coated in RAL 7021 – black gray. The injection molded plastic parts are black.

And since the 96-E has a step size of 90 mm, residents can continue to enjoy the beautiful vistas.
