Atmospheric customization in Amersfoort

A good remodel keeps in mind what is valuable about the old building. However, a renovation also means taking adequate space for renewal. This creates a beautiful interplay between a new custom home in a characteristic old look. An old farmhouse like this offers fantastic possibilities. Two themes took the lead for us in the renovation: first, the structure, which is kept visible as a characteristic element. In addition, there is tremendous attention to light. The traditionally small openings in the façade are expanded with contrasting, horizontal panoramic windows. The open floor plan with transparent staircase enhances the spaciousness and light.
