Atmospheric outdoor room

After the monumental villa was fitted with a modern extension, the garden was in need of a refresh. The client’s main wish was a better connection between inside and outside, and more diversity and color in the borders.

The spacious terrace adjacent to the French doors is the central place of the garden. Framed by two beautiful multi-stemmed ornamental cherries, and equipped with a wood stove, a fine and private sitting area has been created here.

The planting is attractive throughout the year by using perennials, bulbs and ornamental grasses. This natural style of planting provides a good balance, tremendous diversity, a strong seasonal experience.

Because the garden is a pleasure to look at, as well as to stay in, a wonderful outdoor room has been created where inside and outside blend seamlessly.
