Canal building

On one of Amsterdam’s canals, in the city center, we created an intimate apartment for a young entrepreneur. The design is all about comfort and luxurious living. Near the wall in the living room, we designed a fireplace lined with leather. Opposite is a wall covered with a beautiful curtain in metallic copper color, as well as the legs of the epoxy table. The table top is made of old Swiss chalet wood covered with 8 layers of transparent epoxy. In the living room is a pot of a design by Osiris Hertman made of Charmotte clay with a beautiful large tropical plant in it.

To separate the living room from the “master bedroom,” we designed a large sliding door with a robust hanging system. The wood door is made from old fishing boats from Java, very unique and authentic. The canopy bed with floral design is handmade in Indonesia.
