Concrete ciré or mortex

Concrete ciré or mortex is a type of stucco used to cover walls, floors, furniture, kitchen countertops and bathrooms. Beton ciré is French for rubbed concrete and has long been doing well in France. This modern product is also breaking through in the Benelux. It is made from a powder to which pigments are added to obtain beautiful and deep colors that do not wear off. The result is a waterproof and seamless surface, making concrete ciré or mortex also very suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Concrete ciré is finished with a soap solution or varnish for even better protection against moisture and stains.
