Concrete extension with sliding glass doors | Zeist

Kraal architects created the design for the modern extension to this home. The extension has concrete walls and a concrete floor. Both the floor and walls extend from the inside to the outside. The large sliding doors of black steel and glass cover the entire width of the rear façade. This façade can be opened almost completely to both sides. This creates a strong connection between the house, the terrace and the garden. The concrete extension has a spacious overhang that extends into the patio canopy. The interior blends nicely with the sleek modern extension. Central to the space is an oak block, which houses kitchen cabinets and appliances. The staircase and toilet are also housed in this volume. The minimalist kitchen features a sleek stainless steel kitchen island.
