Creative adaptations

The kitchen in this home is the beating heart of the house. Spacious, practical and very attractive overlooking the beautiful garden. The residents are very happy with the large dining area previously purchased from Meijs Wonen but they are sad to see the living room used less.

In the living room there is a large lounge sofa that is only used when watching television in the evening. It is comfortable but less suitable for sitting with company.

With this question, they come to Meijs Wonen and engage in a conversation with stylist Denise. Together they come to the conclusion that two sitting areas are needed in the large living room to accommodate all the needs and functions. The existing rug will not be replaced but with some modifications, it lends itself perfectly to bringing the dichotomy together. A new piece in a different color is put in between by the Meijs Wonen studio, creating an even larger rug in two different colors. In the center will be a fine armchair that can match any corner.
