Curved staircase and luxury golf architecture in timber, stone and glass

The curved staircase is the first thing the eye catches, but it is only one part of a larger composition of timber, stone and glass. Around it, the project moves in rounded volumes, with steel railings tracing the edges and a wooden ceiling running overhead. The result is a golf setting that feels shaped rather than assembled, where each surface pulls the next one into view.

Curved staircase and looped circulation

The curved staircase rises as a sculptural loop, turning the route into a visible feature instead of hiding it behind a wall. Its steel balustrade follows the bend with a tight rhythm, while the wood above softens the hard line of metal. Seen from close range, the stair reads as part of the architecture of movement: a rounded passage, a landing, then another curve that opens toward the terrace and the wider golf landscape.

That same sense of movement continues in the adjoining volumes. Cylindrical and curved elements repeat across the project, so the staircase never feels isolated. The metal railing, the rounded edge of the floor plate and the timber soffit work together to frame the view outward. For a project centered on luxury golf architecture, the circulation is not hidden away. It becomes one of the main visual cues.

Timber roof structure above stone and glass

Above the stone base, the timber roof gives the building its clearest horizontal line. The wood is visible in the soffits and in the roof construction, where lamellas and cladding create a warm, layered surface under the overhang. The roofline bends gently in places, which makes the silhouette feel less rigid and gives the facade a softer edge against the open sky.

Natural stone frames the larger openings and anchors the glazed sections. The glass sits in broad panels, sometimes as a full wall, sometimes as a slimmer opening cut into the stone. That contrast is direct: the heavy perimeter holds the lighter centre. It is a natural stone and glass facade that relies on proportion rather than decoration, with the roof hovering above and the glazing pushing the interior outward toward the terraces.

Roof edges, shadows and structural rhythm

From the side, the roof overhang throws a thin band of shadow across the glass and terrace paving. Pink-toned metal trim appears at certain edges, giving the construction a sharper line where the timber ends. These details are small, but they affect how the building reads from a distance. The roof stays low and broad, while the stone piers and glass openings keep the composition open to the grounds.

Terraces that extend the interior outdoors

The covered terrace is drawn as a working part of the building, not as an afterthought. Large paving slabs run beneath the overhang, and the ceiling above repeats the timber finish seen elsewhere in the project. A round chimney or extraction element stands near the centre of one terrace view, turning a practical detail into a fixed point in the composition. The open side looks straight out onto the golf setting, with the edge of the terrace marked by glass and stone.

Another terrace view shows a long horizontal canopy running along the edge of the building. Here the line is almost architectural in itself: a strip of roof, a strip of shade, then the glazed wall behind it. The surfaces stay restrained, but the effect is strong because the overhang gives depth to the facade and defines where the exterior room begins. In the context of modern golf terrace design, that transition matters as much as the view.

A terrace framed by timber and a round chimney

Closer in, the terrace reads as a sequence of materials. Timber above, stone behind, paving below, glass to one side. The round chimney element breaks the grid and introduces a more vertical note. Its curved form echoes the staircase and the other rounded volumes in the project, which helps tie the outdoor space back to the architecture of the main building.

A long low pavilion for the driving range

The driving range pavilion is the most horizontal part of the project. It stretches out as a long, low wooden hall with a simple roofline and a clear service rhythm along the side. From the outside, the wood gives the building a measured, almost linear presence against the grass. The scale is modest compared with the main volume, but the length of the pavilion makes it feel anchored in the landscape.

Inside, the timber ceiling continues the same language. The roof structure is visible overhead, and along one side there is a service or counter zone with work surfaces running beneath the wood. The space is straightforward, but the detailing is not accidental: the ceiling lines, the side openings and the horizontal facade all support the pavilion’s use without distracting from the architecture. As a driving range pavilion, it completes the project’s outdoor sequence.

Light, edges and rounded steel details

What gives the project its character is the way light catches the edges. On one facade, glass panels sit deep within a natural stone frame; on another, the timber soffit receives a softer light under the overhang. The curved steel balustrade adds a cool line to the warmer materials, especially where it wraps around the stair and landing. Each element is readable on its own, yet none of them dominates for long.

The rounded metal pieces recur in several views, from the stair enclosure to the terrace details. They echo the curved staircase without repeating it literally. That repetition of form across different parts of the golf architecture keeps the project visually connected while allowing each zone to keep its own role: entry, terrace, circulation and pavilion. The building works through these shifts in shape, material and scale rather than through ornament.

Across the site, the project stays close to its materials. Timber roof sections, stone frames, glass openings and steel rails define the experience from one image to the next. The curved staircase remains the lead gesture, but the broader setting is what gives it weight: a sequence of terraces, a covered outdoor room and a long wooden pavilion that extends the architecture into the golf landscape.
