Floating staircase in renovated mill

The mill of Veltem dates from around 1600. In 2015, it underwent a very thorough renovation and was converted into a home.

The 4 floors were connected by floating steps running up the circular walls. To best connect the spaces, skylights with clear glass were provided in the floor slabs.

This unique project remains one that we always look back on with enormous pride.
