Floating steel staircase with bottom quarter
A steel floating staircase with treads made of sheet steel and wood only 50mm thick, it remains a special feature. The slim steps give the stairs a minimalist and a sophisticated look.
The desire; a floating steel staircase with wooden treads. The challenge; a quarter turn at the bottom of the stairs where the steps cannot be connected to the wall, due to a glass wall. Mission accomplished? Definitely!
The result is a staircase with a sleek and elegant character, a beautiful an addition in this hall if we say so ourselves.
Materials: 10mm solid lasered sheet steel and 40mm solid oak
