Furnishing home with home office
The client built this single-family home 5 years ago. He lived there for a while and then recently had the house completely furnished.
FURNISHED OFFICE SPACE
Because the resident has his own business and wants to be able to work at a desk at home, we have also completely decorated the interior of an office space. There is room for two people and customers can be received stylishly and in peace. The office can be completely closed off from the private area with a steel sliding door. In this way the workspace is part of the living space without being a disturbing factor.
BARE GRAY LINE PLAY
The owner of this contemporary villa is a plumber and therefore wanted the guest toilet to be a real eye-catcher. We succeeded beautifully: for example, we covered the toilet with stratica, a carrara marble type. A daring choice, but the lines of shades of gray look striking and fresh. The stylistic black faucet is also a real eye-catcher.
SOBERE, FUNCTIONAL VESTIAIRE CABINET
We also designed the cloakroom closet in the hall. It has become a functional, sober floating chest of drawers that is perfectly integrated into the sleek style of the home.
MOVABLE TV WALL
The seating area also has a modern and sober look. A striking detail is the sliding wall that is divided into three parts: the TV in the middle and side cabinets. With this panel, one of the three parts always remains open. Don’t feel like watching TV? Then the TV can disappear behind the panel. This way the space is transformed into a cozy place where you can relax with a book or have a glass of friends with friends.
FIREPLACE WITH WOODNIS
The original freestanding fireplace received a true transformation and was completely wrapped in a metal jacket. We also created a wood niche for wood storage. The fireplace separates the TV room from the dining room in an aesthetic way.
WHITE Varnished MDF AND WENGÉ OAK VENEER
In the dining room we hung a floating chest of drawers. The furniture is mainly made in white lacquered MDF and wengé oak veneer. At the garden there is a large window party where we have created an additional seating area. A bar furniture with open shelves makes it a cozy space.
In the bedroom, the TV furniture is processed with lacobel, a black mirror glass: the TV does not stand out like this.
We have also carried out a full light study for the entire home and there are beautiful fixtures everywhere that serve as an eye-catcher.
