With Duravit’s Ketho.2 furniture series, designer Christian Werner continues the recognizable look of the previous series in a revised, more modern form. The continuous handle strips integrated into the front emphasize the horizontal line and thus structure the perfectly proportioned overall appearance. With a wide range of options for sizes, surfaces and ceramic ranges that can be combined, Ketho.2 proves to be an all-rounder in the design process. Robustness, very high quality and functionality, longevity and the use of durable PEFC-certified material for fronts and bodies make the furniture program a perfect bathroom series, at a very attractive price.

Timeless design for any living style
The timeless design of Ketho.2 fits perfectly into any bathroom and satisfies all needs. Ketho.2 is characterized by clear, rectangular basic shapes that are given a special brightness by the precisely flat, 16 mm thick body sides. Christian Werner describes Ketho.2 as “poetry of geometry, with beautiful proportions and distinctive, transverse handle strips of anthracite-colored aluminum. The reduced, elegant form language will give pleasure for a long time.”

Design options with clear storage space
As a complete furniture program, Ketho.2 includes a total of 27 elements, including base units with hinged door, pull-out or drawers with fine dimensions from 410 to 1600 mm wide. They are combined with washbasins from the ME by Starck, D-Neo or Vero Air series, as well as a whole range of countertop washbasins for console solutions. For comfortable use in everyday life, Ketho.2 uses a premium pull-out system that impresses with its smooth running, high resilience, comfortable soft-close function. Wherever you grip them, the pullouts and doors open softly and silently – just as they close again, almost by themselves. A high-quality interior system is available as an option for the drawers. Half-height and tall cabinets increase storage space. A narrow, double divided wall shelf is ideal as a decorative element with storage space.

Mirrors and mirror cabinets as a visual highlight
Sensor-controlled mirrors (optional with heating) and mirror cabinets (optional with lighting) blend harmoniously into the overall look. Two slightly recessed light bars on the left and right provide direct illumination of the mirror surface. They radiate glare-free light on the wall with more than 300 lux and are therefore also suitable as a main light source in the bathroom, which also creates an ambient atmosphere. The LED light sources with a pleasant light color have a burn time of more than 30,000 hours, making them especially durable.

Surfaces for individual customer requirements
A true all-rounder for specific customer requirements, Ketho.2 also offers a wide range of options when it comes to choosing colors. From white, to various shades of gray and also grained wood, there are 15 decorative surfaces to choose from in different price categories. The three super matt colors in white, taupe and graphite with an easy-to-clean anti-fingerprint coating meet the highest demands with their particularly elegant aesthetics and refined feel.

Convincing benefits for architects and installers
Ketho.2 convinces with tangible advantages such as design, attractive value for money, planning flexibility, durability and Duravit brand quality for a long service life. This includes the careful processing of surfaces and edges, even in non-visible areas. ABS edges are used for decorative surfaces and veneers of real wood, which are also scratch and impact resistant. This also applies to decorative surfaces coated with HPL (high-pressure laminate).

8 mm thick back panels glued over the entire surface in a milled-out groove provide high stability for tall cabinets. The resulting opening to the wall provides improved humidity. Strict controls during and after the completion of all production steps guarantee the high Duravit brand quality.

The fully pre-assembled and pre-set Ketho.2 furniture elements also allow for easy and time-saving assembly and are therefore as suitable for private bathrooms as they are for project business such as hotels. All Duravit bathroom furniture is manufactured exclusively at the company’s own production site in the Black Forest.
