Low maintenance garden Amersfoort
On the Amersfoort canal, we realized a low-maintenance living garden for dining, lounging and enjoying flowers and all that other greenery. A robustly vegetated pergola with a shade cloth over the patio and a partition of bamboo plantings at the back of the garden contribute to desired shelter and privacy.
Sleek ceramic tiles, old baked clinkers and gravel provide variety in the (semi-)paving in this garden. Beautiful flowering plants interrupt the paving here and there and provide additional stormwater drainage. A cloud hedge of Yew contributes much of the evergreen planting in this garden with a beautiful multi-stemmed currant tree rising above the cloud and planters with African lilies.
In short, a varied garden in materials and plantings to enjoy and delight in outdoor living.
