Modern custom interior with open-plan living area

Dark cabinetry meets pale wall surfaces at once, and that contrast sets the tone for the interior. The modern custom interior is composed through straight lines, shallow reveals and a material palette that moves between warm wood, matte fronts and light surfaces. Natural light enters through large glazing and keeps the rooms open, while built-in joinery defines each zone without breaking the sightlines.

Custom wall cabinetry with a clear contrast

A long wall of built-in storage anchors the living areas. Some sections sit flush and dark, others open up in lighter recesses that break the mass into measured parts. The joins are precise, the fronts are flat, and the result is a custom built-in wall that reads as part of the architecture rather than an added layer. That quiet rhythm continues from the hallway into the living room, where the cabinetry also shapes the route through the house.

Warm wood softens the harder edges of the storage volumes. It appears in lower panels, stair elements and selected details, giving the room a material thread that runs past the kitchen and toward the circulation spaces. The contrast is strongest where dark built-in sections frame pale surfaces or where a niche is cut into a deeper panel. These shifts give the modern custom interior a measured cadence without crowding the rooms.

An open-plan living area that keeps moving

The open-plan living area connects the main rooms in one continuous sequence. Instead of separate, closed zones, the layout lets the hall, living space and kitchen share views and light. A low bench, a long cabinet run and a wide opening to the next room guide the eye forward. The floor surface stays visually calm, so the joinery, furniture and window lines do most of the work.

Light is not treated as decoration here; it is part of the layout. Large windows bring daylight deep into the interior, and the louvered window treatment lets that brightness be filtered rather than blocked. In several rooms, the glazing is paired with clean frames and slim details, which keeps the edges sharp. The open-plan living area feels carefully directed, with each opening revealing the next zone instead of ending the sequence.

Low furniture, open views and precise edges

In the living room, a low seating element sits in front of dark joinery and a pale wall. The horizontal line of the furniture echoes the cabinetry and the window bands, so the room reads in layers rather than as isolated pieces. Small recesses in the built-in wall create places for objects without interrupting the flat surface. The room stays restrained, but the detailing gives it depth.

A luxury kitchen shaped by surfaces and light

The luxury kitchen is defined by a minimalist kitchen island with a marble-look countertop. Its stone-like veining catches the light without dominating the room, and the darker base below it keeps the composition grounded. Around the island, integrated kitchen lighting traces the working zones and highlights the straight geometry of the cabinetry. The room feels open because the lines remain uncluttered, not because there is little to see.

Across the kitchen, the material changes are deliberate. Dark fronts sit against lighter surrounding surfaces, and the marble-look finish appears again in a niche wall, where it creates a clear focal point. A gold-toned tap introduces a small reflective note at the sink, while the rest of the room stays controlled. This is a luxury kitchen that relies on proportion, finish and light rather than ornament.

Marble-look surfaces and built-in lighting

The marble-look countertop becomes more visible in close-up, especially where it meets the straight edge of the island and the darker cabinetry beneath. Its surface works with the integrated lighting above and below, which makes the work area easy to read at night and gives the stone effect more presence during the day. The kitchen island is not treated as a statement object on its own; it is part of a larger interior composition that includes the adjacent wall joinery and the open circulation around it.

Stair, hallway and window zones as one composition

The stair and circulation areas continue the same language of dark and light. Dark wood steps rise against white walls, and a darker wall panel beside the stair adds weight to the vertical route. In the hallway, a built-in storage wall extends beneath a large window opening, where louvered screening filters the daylight. The result is practical, but it also keeps the transition spaces visually consistent with the rest of the modern custom interior.

Details in these zones are kept tight. Open niches break up the cabinet fronts, and the reveals stay narrow so the joinery reads as one continuous system. Metal elements appear only where they need to, such as at the kitchen tap or in the lighting fixtures, which leaves the wood, stone-look surfaces and matte panels to carry the composition. Across the whole open-plan living area, that restraint gives the rooms their clarity.
