Modern villa with a swimming pool and minimalist interiors

Large glass panes pull daylight deep into the house and keep the garden in view from the main living spaces. Outside, a garden terrace with a swimming pool sits close to the façade, with broad gray paving, a straight-edged lawn, and planting beds that line the walls. The result is a modern villa with a swimming pool that reads as one continuous sequence of interior and exterior moments, from the first view at the entrance to the water beside the terrace.

Glass, paving, and the move toward the garden

The back of the house opens through large glass windows in the living area, where the interior seems to stop at the threshold and continue onto the terrace. The paving is laid in large-format tiles, set in a measured grid that keeps the surface calm even when the light shifts across it. A rectangular pool reflects the white walls and darker accents around the building, while the low planting and stone retaining walls give the outdoor space a clear edge.

Seen from outside, the modern villa with a swimming pool does not rely on ornament. Instead, it uses proportion and surface to shape the view. The white volumes are broken by darker zones around the garage or carport side, and by openings that frame the garden. This contrast is strongest where the glass meets the solid walls, making the route from living room to terrace easy to read at a glance.

A kitchen defined by white fronts and a dark wall

Inside, the kitchen turns to a white modern kitchen with dark accents, using flat-front cabinets and a light worktop to keep the room open and uncluttered. The darker wood-toned wall behind the working zone gives the room depth without adding visual noise. Handles are kept discreet, and the cooking and sink areas sit within a compact layout that makes the counter the main horizontal line in the space.

Lighting is built into the ceiling and picked up again in the surfaces below, so the kitchen feels precise rather than decorative. The white cabinetry reflects light from the nearby openings, while the darker backing panel sets off the pale worktop. In a house shaped by glass and outdoor views, that contrast matters: it holds the kitchen visually in place while the rest of the interior remains open to the garden.

Clear lines around the work zone

A second kitchen view shows the same language from a slightly different angle. The white fronts continue across the base units, and the darker timber-like wall forms a vertical counterpoint behind them. The room keeps its focus on straight edges, right angles, and the clean break between light and dark surfaces. It is a kitchen that depends on surface rhythm more than on display, with every line set to keep the eye moving across the room and back to the windows.

Living spaces framed by wide openings

The large glass windows in the living area do more than bring in light. They enlarge the room by tying the seating and circulation zones to the terrace outside. From inside, the garden reads as part of the room composition: grass, paving, pool water, and the low line of the boundary walls all sit within the same field of view. That connection gives the living area a very direct relationship with the outside, without relying on visual clutter.

One image shows the rear façade as a long horizontal plane, with multiple glazed sections set between white walls and narrow timber elements. The effect is measured and practical. The openings are wide enough to keep the garden visible from several points, yet they do not break the building into fragments. The architecture stays legible because the frames, glass, and solid walls remain in a steady balance of their own.

An entry hall marked by wood and white plaster

The entry hall with wooden door is deliberately restrained. White plastered walls keep the space bright, while the timber door brings a warmer tone into the narrow opening. Dark window and door frames sharpen the edges of the hall, and the number plaque on the façade is part of the same precise composition. Nothing here is oversized. The hall works as a threshold, with just enough material contrast to signal the shift from outside to inside.

That same restraint appears in the passage from the entrance toward the rest of the house. The walls remain plain, the ceiling lines are clean, and the surfaces do not compete for attention. Because of that, the wooden door becomes the key detail in the room. It gives the entry a clear anchor point and ties the interior back to the darker tones seen elsewhere in the house, especially in the kitchen and the exterior volume near the garage side.

Minimalist bathrooms in gray tile and glass

The minimalist gray bathroom uses large gray tiles across floor and wall surfaces, creating a quiet backdrop for the sanitary fittings. A glass shower screen keeps the room visually open, while the built-in lighting prevents the tile surfaces from feeling flat. In one bathroom, a bath is integrated into a darker front, so the plumbing and edge details stay subdued. The room is shaped by simple planes and clear joints, not by decoration.

A second bathroom focuses on the vanity wall. The long double basin sits beneath white cabinet fronts with a plain, almost architectural finish, and the mirror above stretches the room sideways. The arrangement is practical, but it is also visually calm: the double sink, the tile joints, and the glass shower line all sit in controlled alignment. A minimalist gray bathroom like this depends on exact spacing, and that is what gives it its clear reading.

Double vanity, shower screen, and built-in light

The bathroom details are the ones that stay with you: the narrow strip of light in the ceiling, the straight edge of the basin, the large tile format that reduces visual interruption. Those elements do not shout, but they give the room a distinct order. The double vanity offers length across the wall, and the glass screen lets the shower remain part of the room rather than a closed box. Even the darker bath front in the second view helps to keep the composition grounded.

How the exterior and interior hold together

What makes this modern villa with a swimming pool easy to read is the repetition of simple forms. Outside, there are rectangular pool lines, long paving joints, white walls, and dark openings. Inside, those same preferences continue through flat-front kitchen cabinets, large bathroom tiles, and a wooden door set into a plain hall. The spaces change function, but the visual language stays steady, so the house feels closely edited from one room to the next.

Even the smaller landscape elements support that reading. Low planters, stone retaining walls, and the straight boundary between lawn and terrace give the garden a measured edge. The outdoor space is not treated as an afterthought; it is laid out to keep the pool, the paving, and the house aligned in one view. Photography credit: Koen Stijnen Photography.
