In the middle of the busy center of Leiden, Erwin Stam has created a perfect green oasis. The garden is a mix of unique plants, trees in different sizes and classic paving. The lighting plan uses spotlights so that the plants are just as atmospheric after sunset as during the day. In addition, ground spots have been used to illuminate the trees from the gravel and grass. These luminaires are barely visible during the day, but the light is even more striking in the evening. The up-down lighters on the wall ensure that one of the most important sightlines from home also jumps into view in the evenings.
