Project Bosch and Dune

Complete renovation of a villa in Bosch & Duin, designed by Wollaert Architects from Belgium. Because of the all-glass façade, good and aesthetically pleasing shading is essential. By using a steel structure containing 7 louvre roofs, awnings and patio cover are combined in a particularly attractive way.

Because of the large spans, tall box sections were required. Through consultation between contractor, steel fabricator and Livium, the problem of rainwater runoff was solved by draining directly into the steel girder. A spout is provided at the end through which rainwater is drained from the louvre roofs onto the adjacent flat roof. The result is a stunning remodel with beautiful integration of the louvre roofs.
