Project Ouddorp
This fantastic and sturdy dune villa rises well above the term vacation home. The term weekend villa is more appropriate here. Designed by Z-wonen of Middelharnis, this villa literally stands in the middle of the dunes of Ouddorp and seems to have emerged from it. With exclusive use of high quality and natural materials, this home exudes the better beach life. Because of its location directly on the sea and lack of shade, good outdoor space design is essential. To this end, 5 louvre roofs have been integrated into a wooden structure, giving the villa an even tougher look.
When there is a lot of sun and hot weather, the roofs are tilted so that the sun does not affect the Interior. With louvre roofs closed, there is always shade in the home. During high winds and colder evenings, the screens can be lowered and the heaters turned on, so and then outdoor living in the dunes can be enjoyed. The louvered roofs are anodized, which guarantees a long life even in this maritime environment.
