Project Valkenburg (ZH)
An exceptionally beautifully designed villa by Maas Architects in Valkenburg, South Holland. Two sleeping quarters on the second floor under the round hood needed blinds and blackouts. In collaboration with architect and contractor, two pieces of louvered panels were designed and made, both with the exact same radius as the roof of the house. Motors and drives are completely concealed within the frame. The louvers rotate 180 degrees and are controlled through the home’s central home automation system.
