This villa designed by Loxodrome in Venlo has the characteristic that all living functions, including the swimming pool, are oriented toward the garden side. It logically follows that a covered outdoor space directly adjacent to the living room and extending into the garden is a very important feature of the garden side of this home.

The size of the patio and canopy are such that extra light for dark days was a prerequisite. However, in order to make extensive use of glass in the rear façade, proper shading was also necessary. A Louvre roof from Livium has provided an excellent solution here where the louvre roof is completely in keeping with the quality of the design and home in terms of style and finish.
