Rooftop pool in Amsterdam’s Jordaan neighborhood
On the outskirts of Amsterdam’s Jordaan neighborhood, Bos Zwembaden built a large architectural swimming pool. Not in a garden, but on the roof of new building complex “the Green Market.
The pool is set amidst a beautifully landscaped dune landscape. Here residents can enjoy nature while swimming laps, and the fantastic views of Amsterdam’s rooftops.
This architectural concrete pool has an impressive length of 18 meters and features anthracite-colored pool liner. The pool is heated by an energy-efficient air heat pump, combined with solar slats on the pool cover. In addition, the bath is illuminated with app-controllable multi-color lighting, and the bath is completely controllable and manageable through an intelligent and self-learning control system.
