In the middle of the George Marina restaurant in Amsterdam, these LID stairs shine. Together with Framework Studio, we entered a very pleasant design process. Everything is plastered in concrete-look which makes it continuous and creates one whole. The steel steps, combined with the rounded lines, create a modern and robust look.
The staircase is based on the restaurant’s logo; a large, strong rope symbolizing the connection between ship and port. Functionality and design are beautifully balanced in these staircases.
