The village of Papekop is located in the far west of the province of Utrecht, surrounded on three sides by the province of South Holland.
Here, in collaboration with Arco Architects Bna, is a stylish barn home equipped with two louver systems. By Sunshield.
The entire southwest facade is glass and has an area of 34 m2. The first floor is fitted with a rectangular slat system.
On the second floor, the slat system begins as a rectangle, but ends triangular at the top of the ridge.
The total area is 34 m2. The slats of both systems are split into two parts. Each system is controlled by a remote-controlled motor, i.e. independently.
The residents chose the 96-E slat. A louver with a modern, sleek design and a width is 96 mm.
When the slats are fully open, the view between them is 90 mm. Residents can then fully enjoy the rural panorama.
The aluminum components are powder coated in RAL 9004, signal black. The plastic parts are finished in black.
