In this collaboration with contractor Sels and Steven Van Dooren, who designed the fixed furniture, Devos Interieur took care of the interior design as well as the interior.

“In the beautiful garden we took the color of the black swimming pool as a basis,” says Christel De Vos. “Because the customer wanted a certain sobriety, and because we wanted the shades of the materials inside the house to return to the garden, we decided not to add too many additional colors. The central role of the wood and the beige fits in that picture. That sober color palette offers the whole a certain finesse. The exceptional swimming pool also gives an extra touch, certainly in conjunction with the colors of the furniture and the general layout of the garden. ”

Natural products and colors predominate in this concept, both indoors and outdoors. The dark wood of the furniture, the dark glass of the coffee table … enhance that organic aspect. They provide the finishing touch to the dominance of light beige tones. A few touched brass elements give the whole an additional characterful touch. All this contributes to the calm atmosphere and stylish elegance that the owners wanted to give to their interior. A point of attention was that the same atmosphere was extended throughout the entire house, both inside and outside.

The same subdued atmosphere prevails in the kitchen. The choice of materials invariably takes place in function of the customer. The brass is also present, in the structure of the dining table, while the top is made of brushed solid oak, which is perfect for a kitchen or dining room. The kitchen worktop is made of marble. The striking painting, from Leonhard’s Gallery, enhances the color theme. This line is therefore extended throughout the entire house. Another important aspect in this total concept, the interaction between inside and outside, is realized here by the large windows. Thanks to the windows, the garden is ubiquitous, even if you are indoors.
