Tough and atmospheric

The idea was to build a gazebo. Among other things, to counteract the view from the back of the garden. While talking with the architect, however, this gazebo grew into a bar cum chill space with an Austrian mountain lodge look, and the residents have not regretted it for a second.

In no time, it became the kids’ (and their friends’) favorite space. It has become the ideal place for a party or chill night. Parents also use the space much more often than they expected beforehand. Delightful evenings with a glass of wine going over the day.

During the construction phase, the family went in search of a comfortable XXL sofa. The choice was a sofa from Linteloo. At Linteloo, they were advised to go to Meijs Wonen. This is the only showroom that features this size sofa. This allowed them to test sit properly, get advice on the right choice of materials and sizes, and determine the optimal composition for their space. At Meijs Wonen, the entire furnishings for the lounge area were created. The butterfly chairs, rugs, and wooden side tables. Everything was carefully coordinated.

In all seasons it is now lovely to sit (also through the French doors) in the “garden house”. But you almost wish it was always winter with a thick layer of snow. Fireplace on, a nice snack and drink there; what more does a person need.
