Stylish living kitchen

The mission for this kitchen was: practical, inviting and stylish. But Dutch Bespoke® delivered the superlative. The residents of this home say this kitchen has truly enriched their lives. The house really needed to feel like a home, since they had a big move behind them. After a ten-year stay in Asia, the residents and their three daughters returned to the Netherlands. They settled into the man’s childhood home, a lavish 1930s home in the middle of the country. A remodel was inevitable and a black and white kitchen that is truly the focal point of the house is a wish come true.

Living Kitchen

After modernizing the first and second floors, this year it was the first floor’s turn, including a new living kitchen. Monique, the lady of the house, came on the trail of Hollands Maatwerk® through acquaintances and was immediately triggered by the quality and originality of the work provided. The stories she heard about the high level of service and the 25-year warranty on the kitchen also appealed to her. “During the very first interview, there was an immediate click,” she reflects. ‘And we were really positively surprised by the first design we found in our mailbox just a few days later – over the weekend. Hollands Maatwerk® had given its own touch to our wishes, which really created a great kitchen that completely suits us. Not only in appearance, but also practical.

Top in marble look

The design for this black and white kitchen was perfected and came to life this spring. Monique: “In the end we opted for a living kitchen with a pantry and an adjoining workspace. It has become a beautiful whole that breathes hospitality and enjoyment. Hollands Maatwerk® took care of everything and delivered real craftsmanship. Even the air conditioning, which used to bother me, has been very nicely concealed with a conversion.’ The ambiance and experience of space are impressive. Natural tones give the spacious kitchen a calm and inviting feel. The kitchen is finished in real oak and equipped with luxury appliances. A Dekton kitchen countertop, done in marble look, is one of the eye-catchers.
