Warm Nest in Vreeland
On the site of the former First Vreeland Automobile Company (still known locally as “the EVAB”), a row of new houses was recently built. Mariëlle Manten was there in time and, together with her 2 young daughters, she turned one of the “semi-detached” houses into a “warm nest.” Decorating became her new hobby. Together with interior designer Ann Das, Mariëlle created “mood boards. This created a combination of modern design and old used furniture. QuintaLisque’s tiles fit in wonderfully, as they are modern yet “lived-in. They immediately gave Mariëlle a “familiar feeling” and became the signature element in her cozy living kitchen. Great place to enjoy cooking, crafts with the kids and drinks with family and friends. It is as if they have lived there for years.
