Nilson Beds opens ‘experience store’ in Amersfoort, Netherlands
AMERSFOORT – 2020 is a special year for Nilson Beds. Not only does this Dutch company exist for 15 years. It has also moved into its own new showroom on the Hanze Boulevard in Amersfoort. Now that everything is in place, the doors open daily for a welcoming reception.
Upon entering the atmospheric showroom, visitors are already surprised by the stylish entrance containing, in addition to cozy lounge corners, striking bed designs by interior designers Ruud van Oosterhout and Marcel Wolterinck. “After years of planning, sketching and building, we are super proud of our new building containing 24 complete bedrooms,” Rijndert says enthusiastically. ‘You will find luxurious beds at our store, dressed up with beautiful new accessories such as bed linens, bedside tables and rugs. The building, interior and bedrooms are designed in collaboration with well-known interior designers such as Remy Meijers and Marcel Wolterinck.’
Hotel Feeling
“Everyone who comes here is looking for a nice bed that is tailored to personal sleep needs,” Rijndert said. ‘After all, a good night’s sleep is vital! For good sleep advice, we therefore take all the time we need in our SleepLab. But we also like to show that comfort can also be beautiful. And that every bedroom can be transformed into a luxury hotel suite. From small to large rooms and fitting any budget. Together with the customer, we design the bed of his or her dreams. Every Nilson bed is custom-made and therefore unique!
Unburdening interior professionals
This year, Nilson celebrates its 15-year anniversary. By now, many private customers and hotels worldwide have been provided with wonderful sleeping comfort. Nilson also works with interior designers who visit the showroom with their clients. ‘We offer an inspiring space where they and their customers can quietly pick out a bedroom that matches the overall interior. We support this, and so far with great success!’ concludes Rijndert.

Worldwide, more and more hotels are also discovering Nilson Beds as the brand for filling sleep comfort. For example, Nilson has provided beds for the Amstel Hotel Amsterdam, Van der Valk Nijmegen and Hotel Mondragon in Zierikzee, among others. ‘The good value for money of our beds, combined with customization, short lines of communication and perfect service makes us loved by the hotel industry. We are very happy and proud of that.’
