The choice of aluminum in this regard is not accidental, explains Annette Van der Ziel-Zeldenrust of TWIN DOORS. ‘Aluminum is strong, slim, durable, the design has tighter details and it is cheaper than steel. In combination with, for example, a metallic coating and matte finish or closed panels in the door, it gives a very special look. Even leather details are possible, an inlay with wood or a full color print on the glass. It gives the look something unique and personal.’
In-house production
Everything is customized, provided by our own professionals. Production is in-house, and along with the showroom housed in the building that houses partner Plan Effect, a leading player in glass wall systems and doors for offices. TWIN DOORS arose from a need for industrial doors for the private market and Annette and her husband Marcel’s passion for stylish interiors.
Collaboration with Remy Meijers
Annette and Marcel are proud of their collaboration with interior designer Remy Meijers, who designed a door collection for TWIN DOORS. Connecting and enhancing spaces, combined with the right light and a luxurious look is his strength. By customizing, the doors become a style element within the interior that should be seen. ‘Anyone can supply a black door these days. We are at the forefront of interior design trends. We can inspire people and couple this with knowledge, experience and good advice with a 3D drawing and accurate measuring. We don’t just sell a product, we add a piece of design, style with sleek details, in the home.’
