How happy and proud we are with whole Van van Ee team! Every day, with dozens of people, we work on works of art of projects. So how cool is it that the international jury noticed this! Good taste.
The Renson Award is a prestigious, international award. The jury Mayor Vanryckeghem, NOA manager Baekelandt and architects Wielfaert and Rigolle reviewed projects from around the world. We are immensely proud that this project was chosen as Best Residential Outdoor Project, one of five categories.
The uniqueness of this patio cover
The residents of this project from the municipality of Montferland opted for a complete garden renovation several years ago. Step by step, a landscape architect transformed the garden into a fantastic whole. When you walk through the garden you get the feeling that you are walking in a park. At the end of that park stands the Vince garden room Van van Ee. In this place, moments are created that will never be forgotten.
This garden room has 150-degree rotating slats in the roof, with Up – Down integrated LED lighting on all sides. The slats can be tilted to any position at the push of a button. The pictures show back how amazing the effect of sun rays give through the slats. Glass walls were chosen for two sides . This terrace glazing consists of panels that slide past each other left to right. Each panel you slide open automatically takes the next panel with it. In this way you guarantee the spatial effect of this garden. To comfortably use the sun’s heat, built-in screens are incorporated all around. Red Cedar Loggia slats were chosen for two other sides .
