These are the winged words Alphenberg has used as a starting point for more than 10 years. The look of leather is tough but at the same time chic, timeless yet modern. Leather fits into any respectful interior! Its special qualities and properties make this material ideally suited for application to walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, doors and fireplaces, among others. And did you know that leather is also soundproof, fire retardant, strong and easy to maintain!

Mastery, creativity & sustainability
These are the principles we are proud of. It all starts with a 100% natural product; the skin. The entire processing process from hide to leather is based on biodegradable substances. Every process for processing the skins is done under our watchful eye. The leather is “made” by ourselves. Consider the pre-processing, color, topcoat finishing and cutting to the right size. This allows us to accentuate natural features and color nuances. And that, in turn, allows each piece of leather to show its own character. Because if we can use the word unique anywhere, it is true of leather. A natural product of which not one piece is the same. Sustainable too, because although that sounds a bit minor, leather is actually a residual product. ‘Inferior’ is converted to ‘high-quality’ by our expertise. Pure mastery based on expertise and on sustainability!

Designing from knowledge and collaboration
Creativity, as mentioned earlier, is also high on our list of priorities. For Alphenberg, the challenge is to work with designers, architects or interior specialists to arrive at an optimal design in which form, color and choice of materials are decisive. The personal appearance and wishes of the client are the most important starting point.

An endless palette of colors and shapes
Few other materials possess the specific qualities of leather. Making leather in the desired color is one of them. Alphenberg’s inspired color specialists are able to create virtually any color in leather. The major advantages of this are not only the huge choice of colors and the relatively short delivery time per color but certainly also the ability to respond directly to current trends.

Tundra stone
For example, the color stone was recently developed. Applied in the leather collection “Alphenberg Tundra,” this color gives you the feeling of comfort, of a southern vacation, of an elegant and at the same time rugged experience… The leather is firm, the hides large, the finish is understated matte. Leather that you want to touch, that you want to stand on with your bare feet … leather to fall in love with!

2020: new showroom
Alphenberg works from its impressive and creative showroom. Located in a beautiful 19th century building in the center of waalwijk where, after a major renovation, different style elements have been combined in a unique way. You are most welcome there.
