Haarlem
My name is Wesley, and I work as an international architectural photographer based in Haarlem.
I was born in Bogotá and grew up in Amsterdam, a city where architecture is more than form; it is rhythm, silence, and movement. That urban layering shaped the way I see. My fascination with architecture began there.
What started as an instinct for balancing images evolved into a recognisable signature: I am not a photographer who simply documents. I work as a visual author: someone who reads what has been designed, and translates what needs to be said in my own way.
My images are timeless, intuitive, intentional, and rhythmic.
I believe that calm in an image is not the absence of creativity, but the presence of attention. That conviction forms the basis of how I work: in every project, I look for the space where design, light, and emotion come together. Sometimes expansive, sometimes quiet, but always precise.
My work appears in books, magazines, campaigns, and online platforms for clients who understand that strong imagery is not decoration, but positioning, emotion, and experience.
